Minimum quantities

Most items come packed in small quantity like 1 dozen. for this packing method this is called Wholesale Cash and carry. This stock is extra items made by the factory.

The factory will always over produce on an order. they do this because mistakes happen and you need best quality products. So the factory have a 10% over run system. the left over 10% is not all bad maybe 8% is still good and 2% is bad. The 2% the factory will discard. or dismantle. The other 8% will be sold to other wholesale outlets and also be sold in the Factory shop too. We will go direct to the factory shop for you.

For this, the price is about 0.25%-0.5% more than the factory price, because now the factory have shop expenses, so the price is not down, which should be the case.

Discount

There is very little discounting in China. Prices are mostly the same for the same items everywhere you go, the reason for this is because of competition. But price is also based on quality, so you need to compare apples with apples, this is very important.

Discount % varies from 0.25% to 0.5% you will get no more than this. the prices quoted to you are the best prices available, China is not a flea market of second hand items where you can bargain. The prices quotes are bargains and if you are in your industry and know China you will know this to be true and accurate. This discount applies to the cash and carry part of shopping in China.

Wholesale

This term is used when buying from the factory directly. There would be minimum quantities that you would need to order. If for instance the factory shop or the cash and carry market does not have your item in stock, then the factory will obviously have to make it for you. You need to understand that it is very expensive for factories in china to stop production for a small quantity order. this is impossible. As it costs a lot of money to change machinery over to new product lines. Factories are very busy and very big. We are not being arrogant but realistic, from a cost effective perspective. We need to manufacture large quantities of the same product, so as to be cost effective for to you buy from us. But for this quantity you should pay 2%-5% less from the factory shop or cash and carry market.

Quantity varies from item to item some product min quantity is per kg some is per container. some is per carton loads.

Old Stock

There is old stock that is exciting, but the risk is a little higher, you are not able to choose your item, the item is pre packed for you either by mixed kg or by mixed carton or by mixed container or of course min qty of the same item i.e. 1000pcs 200pcs 1000pcs etc. It all depend on the factories offering these deals, the deals are about 30% off the factory original prices...

Catalogues and price list

This is a luxury that Hong Kong can afford and for this facility you pay a royalty. To have colour catalogues and professional photographs taken is extremely costly. We leave this to agent companies that usually live in Hong Kong and specialise and have been doing this for 100 years. Due to China opening up it is now up to real Chinese to help give you the product at low prices. When you get prices from Hong Kong be sure to pay 30%-50% more on each item.

The factories are not able to have catalogues, because they are busy developing new items every day, and it would be impossible to make a catalogue, for this reason a price list is also out of the question and not available.
